Queens & Kings of The Valley: Anticipated to begin early 2026

After lying dormant for over a decade, the legend returns.

Originally developed back in 2013 by our good friends at Homebase Skateshop, a local spin of the legendary Thrasher King of the Road, Kings of the Valley was born as a way to unite the greater Lehigh Valley skateboarding scene.

Now revived and reimagined by The Chunko Foundation, The Queens and Kings of the Valley keeps the same wild heart and local pride — but this time, the challenge expands beyond the board.

It’s about connection, creativity, and positive impact: skating with purpose, filming with meaning, and building something that lasts.

From streets to skateparks, from beginners to veterans, Queens and Kings of the Valley will welcome all who carry the spirit of progression and community.

The crown isn’t about who lands the hardest trick — it’s about who lifts the Valley higher.

Cheese & Crackers Challenge

The Cheese & Crackers Challenge celebrates the legendary 2006 skate video Cheese & Crackers, created and performed by Daewon Song and Chris Haslam. This film redefined technical skateboarding, inventive lines, and playful creativity on transitions, inspiring generations of skaters worldwide.

This challenge honors the spirit of the original video and ensuring every line, trick, and combination stays true to its fearless, imaginative energy.

For the Chunko Foundation, this portion is especially meaningful. Zac spent decades skating ramps in backyards, living rooms, and custom-built spaces. He was deeply inspired by Haslam and Daewon. From the ramp in his grandparents’ backyard to the one he built in his living room, his love for creative skating is woven into this challenge. His latest ramp, now in his mother’s backyard, stands as a living tribute to that passion.

  • Quarterpipe Minimum: 3’ high (a miniramp is NOT required).
